Simulation error Cannot cast from source type to destination type

Symptom

An error on screen or in log file:

• Simulation error: Cannot cast from source type to destination type

In the log file, which contains full error message, there will usually be references to things like:

• at DistrictPark.GetAcademicYearProgress ...

Cause

This error is not caused by TM:PE.

One known cause is the Real Construction mod.

Solution

• Completely unsubscribe the Real Construction mod

• Exit to desktop to flush the mod code from RAM
